MPBS was founded over 35 years ago as a non-profit, fully volunteer-run organization committed to providing recreational baseball and softball for the youth of Marina. For many of the youth involved, MPBS is the only opportunity to play recreational baseball and softball prior to High School sports in Marina. We recognize the purpose of sport as a challenge to develop one’s individual skills with the need to blend individual performance with team goals. Good sportsmanship is most important and while victory is the goal of competition, the competition should be as rewarding than the final score.  Our goal is to provide a quality program that can meet the needs of all the children in our community. We work hard to ensure that we provide the best youth sports experience at the lowest possible cost, focusing on a wide range of playing experience that is the right mix for recreational baseball and softball in Marina.
